I shoot street and candid portraits in Lisbon for a living. Mentorship is me taking you with me and showing you how I actually do it, then working on your own photos with you until they get better.

For photographers already shooting who want their work to become recognisably theirs. Or for beginners. I have been in both places and I know how to adapt.

Online Session: €150

One hour over video. Portfolio review, my editing process, positioning, or whatever you have been stuck on. I send you a questionnaire beforehand so we start on the point. You leave knowing where your work stands and what to fix first.

Photo Walk in Lisbon — €350

Three hours shooting together in Lisbon, where I think out loud. Why this corner and not that one, why I raise the camera here and let the next moment go, what I am cutting out of the frame and why, how I read the light and decide what it lets me do. You shoot alongside me and I do the same with your frames, in the moment, not afterwards. Settings covered too if needed. At the end we go through what you made together and I give you honest feedback.

Mentorship Programme — €1,300

Three months of working on your photography with me, structured around what you want to get better at.

We start with a session going through your work and setting what we are fixing. Between sessions you shoot and send me what you get, and I go through it with you each time, so the feedback builds instead of starting over. If you want to end up with a finished series, we work toward that. If you just want to shoot better, we work on that.

Five sessions across three months, up to three of them photo walks in Lisbon, the rest online. Two payments of €650.

What camera do I need? Whatever you own.

I am a complete beginner. Is this for me? Yes. We start with what you have and where you are. Say so in the application and I will plan the session for that.

I am not in Lisbon. Most of the people I work with are not in Portugal. The remote programme covers it.

Can I try one session first? Yes. Book the programme within 30 days of a single session and that fee comes off the price.
